SACBID AT A GLANCE

SACBID, is a platform for black owned businesses to empower themselves as a collective. We exist to help build a South African Economy in which, black people have value-chain control, education and/or training and empowerment and access to funding, financial support, markets and resources. By becoming a part of SACBID, the Black South African Entrepreneur will benefit through:

Empowerment

Institutions of training and empowerment will be established to provide formal and alternative education and empowerment to the entrepreneur. The primary purpose is of ensuring that, his business is formidable, sustainable and within the network. Entrepreneurs may have not attained formal education however, with our Alternative Education and Training Programs, the entrepreneur will be equipped and supported to stand the test of time.

Resources

The network structures will enable business-to- business interactions which will be the starting point of making resources available. The next step is through direct resource capacitation of the business through assessment and capacitation and monitoring approach. The entrepreneur, will be supplied with access to Mentors; SACBID Associates Resources and services from our cluster of Registered Service Providers.

Finance

SACBID will make financial support and funding available to the entrepreneur through a variety of initiatives. A business that has been molded through SACBID resources, will automatically have access to MEDI Funding packages, DaBizDr Mentor Programs and grants from numerous business empowerment grant facilities available through our donor Trusts. Packages will be available in stages and in bulk depending on the plan.

Markets

All SACBID member forums and businesses will have access to business opportunities presented by the Vision 2050 Projects and the subsequent sub-projects. Our “claiming from the existing economy” initiative will offer endless and sizable business opportunities. Furthermore, businesses that are well supported through the entire network, are expected to be self sustainable or generate their niche markets.
